An exhibition dedicated to the 100-year jubilee of the watercolour painter Nándor Mikola.
Watercolour painter Nándor Mikola (1911-2006) was born in Hungary. In the 1930´s he moved to Finland and lived his life in city of Vaasa.
A retrospective consisting of works ranging from the early period of Mikola's career to more recent works done in the 2000's. Mikola, who preferred to paint with his heart than his mind, found inspiration in the colours and forms of nature, the rhythm of the landscape and in light and shade. His works can be seen as representations of personal experiences.
