Ahlström Voyage exhibition

The Ahlström Voyage exhibition, housed in the old forge building, presents over 175 years of the company’s, family’s, and ironworks’ history as well as the present day. The company has played a significant role in Finnish industrial, architectural, and design history. The exhibition also features art glass from the Iittala, Karhula, and Riihimäki glassworks, which were part of the Ahlström Group, as well as impressive scale models of the ironworks area and Villa Mairea.

Café Voyage, located within the Ahlström Voyage exhibition spaces, is open from Saturday, May 9, on Saturdays from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. After Midsummer, during the period June 22–July 22, the café is open Monday to Saturday from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., and on Sundays from 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
From Saturday, August 8, the café will be open on Saturdays until the end of September from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
During the café’s opening hours, the exhibition can also be explored independently with an admission ticket.

Visitors can experience the Ahlström Voyage exhibition in multiple languages using a QR code available in the exhibition space. The available languages are Finnish, English, Swedish, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Indonesian, Norwegian, Polish, Dutch, Bulgarian, Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Turkish, and Ukrainian.
The Ahlström Voyage exhibition is one of the three Museum Card destinations at Ahlström Ruukki. Up-to-date information about public guided tours can be found at:

We recommend booking a place on guided tours in advance through our online store. The Museum Card can be used at the same venue for one public guided tour per day only. A second public guided tour on the same day costs €16 for Museum Card holders.
