Johanna Pisto & Team

Johanna Pisto along with a multidisciplinary team combines visual art, music, video, design and technology in an interactive exhibition. Based on a research project by the University of Jyväskylä, the Kaikuteam developed a method for sensorialising visual arts, which is put into practice here, for the first time. The artwork reacts to touch, producing both sound and moving image.

The exhibition provides the visitors with active art, experimental experiences, changing surfaces, colours and soundscapes. Digital technology was utilised in the creation of the artwork such as for example, laser engraving and cutting, as well as uv and sublimation printing.
