Liza Grobler: An Aloe Swallowed my Drone

In the spring of 2024, a site-specific, immersive installation by South African visual artist Liza Grobler (born 1974) will be constructed in the Verstas space of the art museum. Grobler, who resides and works in Cape Town, is familiar to the residents of Rauma from twenty years ago, during her previous visits in 2002 and 2007 when she participated in the artist residency program. Now, for the third time in Rauma, Liza Grobler's visit will not only include an exhibition but also workshops. The exhibition is being realized in collaboration with the RaumArs residency program.
