May Little Ones' Morning invites the youngest visitors to enjoy fifties' vibes with a fifties music play session, a wooden toy play area and a fifties mini tour.
On Friday, May 8 from 9 AM to 12 PM, Museum Leikki invites its youngest visitors to enjoy the nostalgia of 1950s childhood through themed activities.
Programme of the Little One’s Morning in May
9:30, 10:15 and 11 AM Fifties music play session (in Finnish)
During May’s Little Ones’ Morning, we sing and make music inspired by 1950s nostalgia and childhood favourites. The session is led by music play teacher Ninni Repo from Juvenalia Music Institute.
Each session accommodates 10 child–adult pairs. Please note: places are filled on a first-come, first-served basis by registering at the ticket desk. Welcome!
Register at the desk for a suitable group:
9:30 AM 1-year-olds
10:15 AM 2-year-olds
11:00 AM babies (3–12 months)
9 AM – 12 PM Wooden toy play area
Come and play at the nostalgic wooden toy play area inspired by the 1950s! Designed for young children, the space offers toys that stimulate the senses, imagination and problem-solving skills.
10:30 AM Fifties mini tour (in Finnish)
Join a short guided tour of the Time Travel Odyssey 1950 exhibition and discover fascinating aspects of childhood and youth in the 1950s. Duration approx. 15 minutes.
During the event, delicious snacks are provided by Green Planet Astronauts.
