The collections of objects, photographs, art and textiles relate the maritime history and trading traditions of the town. The most important unit of the museum is the Malm House with outbildings. (The museum also comprises the Cottage of Mother Westman (1790), Runeberg´s Cottage (1811) and the Tobacco Warehouse Exhibition Hall (1905).)
