Description
One of the largest utility boat museums in Fenno-Scandia. All of the 76 Ostrobotnian boats are made of wood. There are seal hunting and fishing boats, skiffs, punts, rowing-boats and motor boats. The boat for catching Baltic herring, built in 1860, is a rarity. Exhibitions of boat-building, seal hunting in the Gulf of Bothnia, and fishing of Baltic herring. Fiherman´s cottage. Temporary exhibitions in the summer.
