The introduction to Kim Simonsson’s works and the architecture of Lasipalatsi offers a concise yet comprehensive overview just before your visit to Amos Rex.

Four shimmering green figures have laid down temporary roots in the Lasipalatsikortteli Square and on the terrace of Bio Rex. A haunting mystery surrounds these moss giants, some of the Finnish sculptor Kim Simonsson’s largest works to date. The giants form a fantastical band of travelers, inviting us to question, dream and imagine in the fearless way of children.
Our intros are approximately 20 minutes long. After the intro, you are free to visit all of Amos Rex’s exhibitions.
Intros are conducted in Finnish, Swedish, and English. Therefore, before booking, please confirm the language of your tour.
Book your intro tickets online in advance! Intro tickets are priced the same as Amos Rex’s admission: €20 for regular admission, €15 for pensioners, €5 for the unemployed, students under 30 years old, and free with a museum card or for those under 18 years old.
