Cupo Arctico is a music project based on handpan compositions by Oulu-based musician Niklas Alamikkela. Handpans, also known as "Ufodrums", are metal, dome-shaped instruments that produce sounds described as meditative and even magical.
The performance will feature the artist's own acoustic versions from the Through the Lens of Gu EP, released in autumn 2025, as well as unreleased and premiere tracks from the upcoming album, accompanied by situational, spontaneous improvisation.
Admission to Kaari is free!
