Curator’s Tour: Tomorrow’s Wardrobe & GLACIER

Explore the themes and works of the Tomorrow’s Wardrobe and YUIMA NAKAZATO – GLACIER exhibitions with curator, costume designer, and professor of art Pasi Räbinä.

Also joining us will be designers whose clothes are on display in the Tomorrow’s Wardrobe exhibition.

Räbinä has worked in opera, theatre, and modern dance, designing stage costumes for over 100 productions at various professional theatres in Finland. The Arts Promotion Centre has appointed Räbinä as Artist Professor of Costume Design in Stage and Performing Arts for the period 2024–2028. As a curator, Räbinä is particularly interested in the concept, artistic vision and message that designers can convey through their garments.

The tour is included in the price of the art museum admission ticket: €9–12, free for under 18 years old. The Museum Card, Kaiku Card, and culture vouchers (Epassi, SmartumPay, and Edenred’s Virike Card) are also accepted as payment.
