WeeGee Live: Family day

WeeGee’s Pride Week Family Day will be celebrated on Sunday, 7 June with soap bubbles, workshops, glitter, and music!

WeeGee’s museums are open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., making it easy to enjoy a full day combining art and hands‑on activities for the whole family.

Children’s Music Band Leimu

In this interactive concert for the whole family, we embark on an adventure in a hot air balloon, travelling around the world to discover different animals and their special skills. We marvel at the masters of the savannah, sneak through the jungle, and meet a polar bear at the North Pole… Hold on tight – the adventure awaits!

Leimu is a children’s music band made up of professionals in music education, who compose, write, and arrange their music themselves. Leimu’s music is suitable for the whole family, and their songs have also been featured on Pikku Kakkonen’s summer tour and super playlist.

At WeeGee’s concerts, Leimu performs as a trio of musicians.

The concert lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Whosagoodsong – Weird tunes for your pet

The Instagram phenomenon Whosagoodsong takes the stage for the first time in Espoo!

Come and enjoy a series of irresistibly catchy pet bangers that have won over both adults and children with their humor. Featuring, among others, Erik, who’s not allowed to eat Bepanthen, Capo, who hates Bon Jovi, and Haiku, a fierce grandma.

The concert lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Ladycrone delights visitors with dazzling giant soap bubbles and adorable balloon animals! The giant soap bubble show lasts approximately 20 minutes, and Ladycrone will be making balloon animals nonstop from 12:25 to 2:25 pm.

Glitternisti’s lovely glitter tattoos are suitable for children of all ages and are made using ecological, gentle, and biodegradable eco glitters. You’ll leave Glitternisti’s stand sparkling and smiling!

Workshop: Rainbow fans 1 am–1 pm (KAMU)

In this workshop, you’ll get to make a rainbow fan—choose your own colors! The workshop is part of the KAMU Pride program. The City of Espoo is a “Working With Pride” partner of Helsinki Pride in 2026.

Art workshop: Matters of Importance 1pm–3 pm (EMMA)

In this art workshop, we take a stand on issues that matter to us. Protest signs are a great way to express an opinion peacefully. What would you like to influence in your own everyday life or more broadly in the world? Is your message inspiring, declarative, or critical? You can leave the signs in the museum for others to read or take them with you.

The workshops are included in the museum ticket price, all other programme activities are free of charge.
