Summer Holiday Program at Museum Leikki: Cucumber Moped Wednesday

Summer at Leikki - the Museum of Play is full of fun and joy! From June 29 to August 11, the museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with fun activities every day. On Wednesdays, the summer holiday program features rides on the Cucumber Moped, a beloved Finnish classic toy. Activities are included in the admission ticket unless otherwise stated in the program schedule.

Cucumber Moped Wednesday program:

11:00–12:30 Moon Animal Workshop
Create imaginative Moon Animals from the world of Cucumber Land using modeling clay.

13:00–13:30 Cucumber Moped Driving School
Earn your Cucumber Moped driver’s license by riding or walking the moped safely.

14:00–15:30 Mini Racing Car Workshop
Build and customize your own miniature racing car for summer races. Workshop fee €2/car.

All-day ongoing activities:

Winnie the Pooh Hunt
Find the Winnie the Pooh characters hidden around the museum exhibition.

LEGO Building Workshop
LEGO fans of all ages can enjoy the joy of building in the LEGO workshop.

Toy Lending Station
Out and about for playtime! During the summer holiday program, you can borrow various outdoor games, toys, and other fun activities from the Toy Lending Station during the museum’s opening hours for use in the courtyard.
