The Särestö Pride´s Art Experience

On Tuesday 11.8.2026, Särestö Pride offers a diverse range of Pride-themed program. A self-portrait workshop is being held as part of this event.

Reidar frequently depicted himself in his works. His self-portraits reflected how he saw himself, as well as the hopes and expectations he held for himself. In this workshop, you can reflect on and portray how you see yourself. The only limit is your imagination! Gouache paints will be used for the artwork.

The art workshop will take place in Reidar’s Studio in a pop-up format, allowing you to drop in between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM during your museum visit. The museum is open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on the day of the event, and the entire program is included in the museum admission price; the day’s activities are free of charge for holders of a valid Museum Card.
