Rauma Art Museum
Kuninkaankatu 37,
26100 Rauma
Golden age of Finland pieces and international exhibits, all in a postcard-perfect pink house with two centuries of age.

The Rauma Art Museum is located in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Rauma, in the over 200-year-old Pinnala House. The city's first private stone house has, since 1970, provided a unique setting for temporary art exhibitions, and from the beginning of 2025, also for a permanent collection exhibition.
The upstairs permanent collection exhibition is built around the Eino Valtonen collection donated in 2009, as well as works from the contemporary art collection of
the City of Rauma and the Rauma Art Museum. Valtonen's collection features works by artists from Finland's Golden Age of art, alongside selected Rauma visual artists and subjects from the turn of the century to the present day, from Akseli Gallen-Kallela to Kerttu Horila, Jaakko Niemelä, and Paavo Paunu, a total of 64 works by as many artists.
The exhibition spaces on the ground floor host changing exhibitions and showcase art and artists from Rauma as well as international contemporary art. The next Rauma Triennale, to be held in 2028, is Finland's second oldest continuously organized contemporary art review, focusing on contemporary art from the Baltic Sea region.
The museum shop selection includes the museum's own products, art cards, and exhibition publications, as well as products from local visual artists and craftsmen, ranging from jewelry to small sculptures. The museum shop is open during the museum's opening hours.
