Vantaa City Museum

The Vantaa History Museum features a permanent exhibition about the region's past, as well as temporary exhibitions. In addition, the museum organises guided tours, workshops, and events. You are also welcome to relax in the museum and read books from our reference library. Visit our small museum shop and buy books, postcards, and curiosities. Museum offices are also located in the building.

The museum building is the old railway station of Tikkurila. The building was built in 1862. It is the oldest brick-built station in Finland. The building was designed by architect Carl Albert Edelfelt.
