Outbuilding exhibition

In manor houses, the outbuildings were the servants’ domain. They were used for storing tools, equipment and food, as well as workspaces. For example, the baking shed was used as an auxiliary kitchen.

In addition to the baking shed, the exhibition includes a food storage shed, a tool shed as well as a shed used for storing garden furniture and playing gear. The texts in the exhibition are in Finnish, Swedish and English.

The address of the Håkansböle manor is Kartanontie 1, Vantaa. The outbuildings can be found in the manor courtyard.

Opening times: Saturdays & Sundays 11-16
Wednesdays (July only) 13-18
