Alarm! tells the story of public safety and fire prevention in a small town.
Already in the Middle Ages, every resident of the town was obliged to help in times of emergency. Working together, the townspeople extinguished fires and helped maintain public order. Regulations changed over the centuries, and by the early 20th century the town had its own police force and fire brigade.
The exhibition explores the development of fire and rescue services as well as policing in Naantali, while offering many fascinating details along the way.

The museum is open Wednesdays 12:00-18:00 from 1 September 2026 to 14 May 2027. Christmas season (from 28 November 2026): Wednesdays 12:00-18:00, Saturdays and Sundays 11:00-15:00, and daily 26-30 December 2026, 11:00-15:00.
